Thermal Africa trades as The Display Room and grew out of two decades spent identifying internationally acclaimed products and building systems around them.

Built out of Sensor Security Systems
Thermal Africa (The Display Room) emerged from Sensor Security Systems, the largest importer and distributor of surveillance equipment in Africa, where the founder directors practised their business acumen for twenty years.
That period was spent identifying internationally acclaimed products and presenting clients with custom made systems designed to excel their expectations. The innovative approach behind it is well known in the industry, where the quest for excellence is unmatched.

In 2023, HIKMICRO appointed Thermal Africa as an official importer and distributor of their full product range for the South African market, covering thermal, night vision and the technology that supports both.
