Thermal Africa is a specialised importer and distributor of HIKMICRO outdoor products for the South African market. As importer, we only sell to our selected dealer network and not to the general public.

Our Story

Thermal Africa (The Display Room) emerged from Sensor Security Systems, the largest importer and distributor of surveillance equipment in Africa, where the Founder Directors practised their exceptional business acumen for twenty years focussing on identifying internationally acclaimed products and presenting clients with custom made systems designed to excel their expectations.

Their innovative approach is well known in the industry where his quest for excellence is unmatched. Appointed in 2023 by HIKMICRO as an official importer and distributor of their full product range. The Father-and-Son entrepreneurial duo continues to earn accolades among several top South African dealers in the industry, many of which have been selected as traders of the popular HIKMICRO products. Prioritization of dealer networks, Thermal Africa’s infallible model, sustains essential dealer relations and generates new business as dealers are being added almost daily.

Due to the sensitive nature of thermal weapon sights which are Munitions List classified, thermal rifle scopes are sold under strict conditions.
